Good morning everyone, It's a damp rainy day today in Lewes but two chattering swallows just flew past my window, back safely from somewhere far away. All is not lost.
Very soon now up on the South Downs the beautiful butterflies will emerge from their slumbers in chrysalis form, and so too the splendid wild flowers from seeds and bulbs, including a variety of fabulous Orchids.

I'd love to take the whole population of Lewes up to see them and to loose ourselves in the peace and tranquillity of that place, all beneath and orchestra of sky larks and linnets to name but a few.
Sadly that cannot happen, it's a rare and delicate habitat and I must be sensible and show just a few folk and advertise it just here to subscribers to my website blogs. For some of my followers it's physically impossible to get up there and even a phone signal is difficult in some places up amongst the folds in the Downs but please do ask and I will take you up there on a live virtual walk via video link.
For those who can walk a couple of miles I am offering a limited amount of 'one to one' or very small group Walks & Talks in perhaps the last week of May and/or the first week of June ( I will check weather and orchids in bloom regularly so as to make a lovely day or evening for you nearer the time) Simply phone or text me on 07891580439 or email steveswalksandtalks@gmail.com if interested.
Meanwhile

I hope this cheers you up on the grey day, bye for now, Steve
