Starlings Murmurating

It's that time of year again and near here there are hundreds of starlings roosting overnight under the Palace Pier at Brighton that I have decided to photograph and perhaps make a wee film about.

Th number of starlings here will increase dramatically over the coming weeks and although there are other sites nearby tis is my choice as it is such a dramatic backdrop.

There is one ting I really want to catch and that is the birds diving into their roost underneath the pier. I did get that from on top of the wooden walk way as you will see but my intention is to lower my gopro to get a birds eye view!

If you'd like to go see this but don't fancy a dusk trip to the big city, there is a mini murmuration in Lewes but to protect the birds ad the house owners privicy, you'll have to study the video and see if you can find it and view from the street where I filmed it. Happy bird spotting, Steve.
