Dawn video Railway Land Lewes

This was my view as I entered Railway Land Lewes nature reserve this morning on my 'Lockdown' walk. Note the Chiffchaff calling, there were quite a few of them that quietly overwintered here and now they are calling to claim a patch and win a mate. Also note the Green woodpecker 'drumming'.

There are two pairs here and also two pairs of Great spotted woodpeckers with one pair of each preparing nest holes just about 2 metres apart on the same willow trunk high up on the bank to the left of this view that was once an embankment for the steam railway line from Lewes Station heading north through the town.
