...and now for something completely different.

Firstly, welcome to new subscribers, I hope you like my website and enjoy my blogs and, if you live in Lewes might have noticed I am now writing locally appropriate monthly natural history articles in the Lewesian magazine. They are delivered free to 7000 homes and business and are available to collect from the Lewes Tourist Information office from the first of the month.

Now, that something different;

These are the eggs of an Oyster catcher, on the shore of the Isle of Bute, off the West coast of Scotland. I lived there for 10 years, starting 15 yrs ago, and tomorrow I return to visit my old pal and a new one, a local naturalist photographer who knows more than I did when I took this photo. I really cannot wait to get off of the ferry and I hope to have some interesting photos and info for a blog on or about 10th May. Bye for now, Steve
