Lunch for the Pied Wagtail chicks yesterday was the Bees knees...

...actually they were fed whole Bees, wholesale!

Here's a little video I took using my car as a hide at Southease Railway station of one parent approaching the nest with a beak full of a variety of wriggling live insects, you can hear the chicks as they get their Hors d'oeurves but have a look at my still photo of the other parent on my Instagram post. five live Honey Bees were delivered as the main course!
